Got Questions? We've Got Answers

Honest answers about glass repair, replacement, tint, insurance, pricing, and more — organized by category so you can find what you need fast.

Auto Glass

Windshield replacement typically ranges from $200–$600 depending on your vehicle's make, model, and year. Luxury vehicles and those with ADAS sensors may cost more. If you have comprehensive auto insurance, your windshield is often covered at 100% with no deductible. We'll provide a free, written estimate before we start any work.

Yes — most comprehensive auto insurance policies cover rock chip repair at 100% with no deductible. Insurance companies prefer you repair chips early because it prevents the need for a full windshield replacement later. We handle the claim paperwork for you.

You'll typically need to wait about 1 hour after installation before driving — this gives the urethane adhesive enough time to set. We'll give you specific aftercare instructions, including how long to leave the retention tape on and when to remove it.

Yes — we perform ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) recalibration after windshield replacement on vehicles equipped with lane departure cameras, automatic braking sensors, and adaptive cruise control. This ensures your safety systems function exactly as they should.

Absolutely. We replace all vehicle glass including side windows, vent glass, quarter glass, rear windshields, and sunroofs. If it's glass on your vehicle, we can replace it.

Residential Windows

If your windows are drafty, fogged between the panes, hard to open, or more than 20 years old, replacement is usually the smarter long-term choice. Single-pane cracks and minor seal failures can sometimes be repaired. We'll inspect your windows and give you honest advice — we never recommend replacement when a repair will do.

Energy-efficient windows use features like double- or triple-pane glass, low-E coatings, argon gas fill, and insulated frames to reduce heat transfer. They keep warm air in during winter and out during summer. Look for the Energy Star label when selecting windows.

In many cases, yes. If the window frame is in good condition but the glass is fogged, cracked, or the seal has failed, we can often replace just the insulated glass unit (IGU). This costs less than a full window replacement while restoring clarity and insulation.

A single window replacement typically takes 1–2 hours. A whole-house replacement (10–15 windows) usually takes 1–2 days depending on access, weather, and window type. We'll give you a clear timeline when we provide your estimate.

Fogged windows are caused by a failed seal between the glass panes. When the seal breaks, moisture gets in and condenses between the panes — that's the cloudiness you see. The fix is replacing the insulated glass unit (IGU) or the entire window if the frame is also compromised.

Standard storefront glass replacement is typically completed within 2–5 business days from order to installation. The exact timeline depends on glass type, size, and availability. We'll give you a firm schedule when you request a quote.

Window Tint

Quality window film professionally installed typically lasts 15–20 years or longer. Most films come with a manufacturer warranty covering peeling, cracking, bubbling, and discoloration. The warranty period varies by film type.

Not necessarily. We offer films with varying levels of visible light transmission — from nearly clear (blocks UV/heat while keeping your view) to darker privacy films. We'll show you samples so you can find the right balance for each room.

The film technology is similar, but commercial installations are often larger scale and may prioritize different goals — like reducing HVAC costs across a whole building or creating a uniform exterior appearance. We'll help you choose the right film for your specific situation.

Yes. Solar control window film can reduce cooling costs by up to 30% in summer by blocking solar heat before it enters your home or building. Low-E films also help retain heat in winter, cutting heating costs. The energy savings often pay for the film within a few years.

Yes — we carry decorative and frosted films for privacy, branding (logos and patterns on office glass), and aesthetic purposes. Great for conference rooms, bathroom windows, and storefront accents.
